Hoplite shield

Hoplite shield - Reproduction of an ancient greek shield, used by the Hoplites of the city-states of ancient Greece.
Spartan version, decorated with the letter Lambda.
This "Oplon" shield is made of bent plywood and hand-painted. The back features a leather handle and a rope for attachment.
